Things to Consider Before Making the Investment in Personal Training.  Personal trainers can help people reach their health and fitness goals, or they could be big wastes of money. It’s tough to know whether or not you need a trainer’s expertise. And if you do, it’s even more difficult to pick the right one. Many gyms offer personal training services for their members (at additional fees that can be pretty expensive), and their high-pressure salespeople might try to convince you to buy a package. But before you sign on the dotted line, it’s important that you’re making the right decision with the right person to help you reach your goals.
